5/24/2023 0 Comments Msi fps overlay![]() I'm pretty much a SP only gamer for this sort of game, so I'm not sure about MP features and whether this disables them or not.Įven if it does, the game still runs "fine" with the overlay enabled, but you might have to turn a few things down a little to get a stable framerate. I haven't had the Vram pop up appear since I did that in addition to the performance boost. I'd also restart the Ubisoft Connect app as well just to make sure. You have to exit and restart the game for this setting to apply. The game will warn you that some features won't work if it is off and try to convince you to turn it on, but as of the launch version of the game, it's better to disable it until the game is patched or better drivers are released unless you really need some feature it provides.įind "UbisoftConnect.exe" in your Uplay install folder and open the launcher with the exe, then click on the three lines in the top left corner and under "General" uncheck "Enable in-game overlay for supported games". This requires a restart to take as well if the game is running when you do it. ![]() ![]() ![]() Note that by "turn it off" I mean turn the overlay off in the UbiConnect launcher's settings, not disabling notifications in game. The game runs noticeably better without it. Unless you are actively using the features provided by the UbiConnect overlay, turn it off. I went from getting just below 60-ish FPS with dips as low as 48, to around 70-ish and no dips below 60 with every graphics setting maxed out and the framerate limiter disabled. ![]() I did it to get rid of the "Low V-ram" notification bug, but it bumped up and stabilized my FPS significantly to disable the Ubisoft overlay using maxed out settings with no FidelityFX and both raytracing options enabled. ![]()
